It is with a heavy heart that I, Jojo, founder and CEO of sakura have decided to close sakura. Due to personal reasons I will be taking some time off before moving onto new projects.
Luckily, we have found a lovely successor who will take over the café in Tieckstraße 8. Together with familiar faces (from the former sakura crew members, who will be staying around), they will provide you with their coffee and cake concept starting from July 1st!
I am so grateful to you, our wonderful guests, to all of our amazing collaborators and other people who have supported, cherished and enabled our a sustainable bakery & café concept in Mitte.
Most of all, I‘d like to say thank you to my amazing sakura crew - all the smiles, delicious cakes, tasty brews and heart-warming talks and laughs - this is your success and sakura was always a team effort <3
